• Our areas of specialisation are insurance (and its sub-divisions), reinsurance and risk management, with Colin having had much broader general commercial experience during 30 years spent here in Sydney and in London

• We provide clear, insightful advice that facilitates informed business decisions and strategic planning. We help our clients to manage risk and avoid conflict, but where a dispute arises which cannot be resolved through mediation, negotiation or other alternative dispute resolution methods, we are well prepared to pursue or defend our clients' interests vigorously, but effectively and economically, in litigation or arbitration

• We work in partnership with our clients, who range from large multinationals to smaller, local corportes to achieve fast and effective solutions and deliver real value for money; other parties are represented by the largest and most expensive international firms, but we win through at a fraction of the cost

• We review and argue issues involving tens of millions of dollars or much smaller amounts, always taking account of the commercial context
